I've put a lot of effort into the site and to be honest considering theres at least 22 people or so logging in each day theres bugger all being posted. The majority of you view threads but the whole point of a community is that we all contribute. It all seems one way at the moment so please try and post things you see or do so that we can all get involved. I even put up an announcememnt for help but no bugger has offered it. I'm feeling pretty pissed off as you can imagine and feel like pissing off and joining another community where people help to make their community instead of just turning up on vent now and then.

The G-VET reporter has already picked up any news there is, and generally I'd go to a news site to read it, not report on it. I would however read the news, see a game that I think looks awesome and go tell my mates about it....

Put bluntly, I think the reporter is stifling a lot of chatter and the banter between members hasn't really picked up from the demise of the old site...

Problem is its the same old few on vent each night also - we need to get a few gaming nights where we all play the same game.



Thats my steam list add to that COD 4, NFS Shift , ARMA 2 ( Plus arrowhead) World in Conflict, WOW, BF2, BFBC2 it gives people a bit of an idea for a gaming night. Lets organise summat.

None of you lads (and lasses) here know me from Adam, and I don't really get that much time on gaming these days. I've never tried this Ventrillo thing, is it like a cross game chat? I'd also feel out of sorts speaking on there for the same reason as above, I don't really know any of you.

I understand your frustrations Wobbs, but I don't see much to contribute in posts, unlike the old site where wobbly, chaos, scaley, terry, stabby, arrit and dredd would make regular posts and I'd either join in, or at the very least enjoy the banter, without posting. I'm much the same on the goat, I'll give input where I have something to give, or at least where it's welcome!! I do feel the Reporter has stifled the chat, as it picks up on all the new stuff and leave no room for someone else to post the gen.

I hope more of the older members who you all know well post again, as I've enjoyed all my time on here.

Geoff. the problem with the game nights. is a lot of the time, most people are either busy or dont have the game. i'm sure if we get a good crowd playing TF2 or something one night. a lot will come back for more :P

I like the G-Vet Reporter, It does save me a job going through different gaming websites.
But for me over the last few weeks I ve not done much on line let alone gaming since moving house, but fingers crossed I will be able to put more time in once everything is sorted, as you know wobb's the list of stuff to do is never ending.

Thanks M8. Just to add to this thread. I dont see any one using xfire other than myself wilf and terry. Mine is always on. If we could see each other playing on line we could join in. We or should i say how i used to do it.
