For those playing BF4, will know the frustrations of 1 hit kills.

I remember having this trouble with a game I had a while back, Operation Flashpoint, it was "praised for its attention to realistic combat"
I barely got anywhere before being repeatedly killed by single shots from protagonists I never got to see. It was so dispiriting I gave up in the end.
