I priced the system up also very quickly with better components and got it to about the same region as Simmo - and thats not hunting around for bargains. Plus with new you will get guarantees on the parts.

I think you may struggle to sell it at that price but good luck with it.

You may want to note if thre is any guarantee left and if it is transferable (normally an admin fee involved)

The other issue you are going to have Lupis is someone willing to part with 1650 in one lump where you can buy the majority of components on credit terms from most retailers now - it would suprise me if you found someone in todays climate.

to be fair i'd rather part with the coin in one do rather than pay the 29.9% (just took a look at overclockers) interest over 2/3 years!

While I agree Killbot it would be better - alot of people wouldnt be able to afford it. Was just an observation more than anything. But good luck to Lupis in selling it.

Seeing this advertised got me thinking, and after some research, I have decided that its time to upgrade.
Anyone interested in some bits - Gigabyte MA 790x ud3 (with box), AMD phenom2 X4 9950 2.6Ghz Black OC Edition and 4GB Corsair DDR2?
120 for them all

I currently run this lot with a 1kw PSU, and a HD 5970 and it runs everything out now comfortably, but its time to match the CPU to the GPU and push the limits.

Thinking about it, I've also got an old HTPC case, a budget 750W PSU and 2x 8800GTS's lying around, I suppose I could put the lot together for 220, 240 and I'll stick in a 500gb hdd....
