Default Closed Loop Water Coolers

Does anyone have a closed loop water cooler in their rig? I'm thinking of getting a Corsair H60 for my rig so I can fit another air intake fan on the side of my case for added cooling to my gfx cards. My current cooler sits too close to the side of my case for the fan to fit.

Are these coolers any good, I don't want to overclock my CPU I just want space inside my case. If my gfx cards melt, I wont be able to replace them any time soon!!

Yes Norm. I have the H100 on my FX 8150 and it never gets above 48 degrees on full load on medium setting. On max setting the double fans are as loud as hell but the cooling is amazing at that setting (33 degrees). However, at medium it is fine when not under load but not too bad noise wise.

I'm not after extreme cooling, my air cooled CNPS10X keeps my i7 920 at about 45-50 on BF4 on a mix of high and ultra settings, I just wanted an extra fan on the side of my case for the gfx.

I have a single fan closed loop on my rig. It's a corsair H60 I think without looking. Great space saver when compared to an air cooler.

Got to be honest dude, the H60 and 80 only perform the same as a high end air cooler. Quite good, but not great.
If you want the best Hybrid from the corsair range, it needs to be the 100i/105/110 cooler to give you better overall temps and overclocking headroom (if you go for that kind of thing).

As a general rule of thumb, Heat=Age. The cooler you can keep your gear, the longer life it will have.

I've opted to stick with my air cooler as it is a high end one and I'm not currently into overclocking. May look again when I upgrade next year sometime.
