Teamspeak Mic woes
Been tinkering this morning trying to get my headset to work with TS, I can hear fine, however my mic doesn't transmit. It not as simple as making sure the correct device is selected, or the voice capture is set to the right level though. The mic works fine in the test mode, but as soon as I try to use it properly it doesn't transmit. PTT and always doesn't transmit either, although the blue icon suggest I am.

Any ideas?

are u using voice activation or a ptt key?

Voice activation, I've adjusted the slider to calibrate it in the test, and that works fine, to further complicate things, my laptop has the exact same issue!!

Don't want to use the ptt, I have enough problems pressing buttons in game without another one just to talk!!

there is a issue with how ourr TS is set up, Geoff was working on it. Guest accounts have to use a PTT key, until he fixes the voice activation issue.

That'll be why then, how do I get a non-guest account

Cheers mate, will log on later. Was playing yesterday with Plas and PTT was actually better, especially when you have 2 kids under 4 making noise in the background!! Think I'll use PTT during the day and voice act once they're in bed!
