Okay, this brilliant FREE, yes FREE MMORPG is so good that its a must have for any subscribers to any of the big MMO's like LOTRO or WOW.  So with this in mind and over a week of playing this game we have now managed to form a guild within the game.  Game Veterans is now up and running and looking to recruit gamers who are serious about playing MMORPG's alongside other seasoned MMO players. 

To get on board you first need to download the client which is just over 2gb from here

When you set up your account you will need to join the server called Valdes and select Turba or Kurt as your spawn location.

Once in the game contact Mingmong or Mingmonk, Skillgannon or Danyal, or Kestrel using username Kessatrel to get invited to the guild.

Well another LAN Party has come and gone without a problem and thankfully everyone seemed to have a great time. The weekend started with a new format....the GOR Olympics. This consisted of a mix and match of games as follows.


1: Mario Kart (Wii)
2. Rfactor - fastest lap (PC)
3. Call of Duty 2 Free for all (PC)
4. FIFA 2008 (Xbox 360)
5. Flatout 2 Race (PC)
6. Flatout 2 Destruction Derby (PC)

The winners of the Thermaltake Prizes and the gold silver and bronze medal were as follows.

1. Sharpy - 16 Points
2. Arrit - 9 Points
3. Dredd (Wales) - 7 Points

Codemasters have updated their Operation Flashpoint 2 site to show that the release date has been put back from Winter 08 to some time in 2009.
